The Grand Ole Opry has been connecting artists with fans and launching the careers of country superstars for generations. From its earliest days, emerging country artists visited this hallowed venue to gain exposure to fans in person and through the airwaves of WSM Radio. Though times and mediums have changed, the Opry continues to be the only show where you can experience the past, present, and future of country music all on one world-famous stage.
Opry NextStage is a multi-faceted 11-month program designed to invest in emerging artists and the future of Country Music. Created in 2019, NextStage leverages the Opry’s legendary history and renowned stage to reach new audiences. Every year, a class of talented up-and-comers is chosen to represent “Country’s Rising Sound.”
Opry NextStage has a strong reputation for engaging the best new artists in the genre — with many experiencing chart-topping success, sold out shows, and industry awards and accolades. This is the place to find country’s next big thing.

The Opry NextStage Class of 2024 includes nine artists handpicked by the Opry. In the fifth year of the program, this highly-esteemed group represents the future of country music and the Grand Ole Opry.

Preceding the 59th Academy of Country Music Awards on May 16 in Texas, the “Opry NextStage Live From Texas” show will
take place on May 15 at 2:30 p.m. CT at Lava Cantina in The Colony, Texas.
The show, presented by Tecovas, will be hosted by Jelly Roll and feature performances from members of the newly-announced Opry NextStage Class of 2024.
